I Need Your Help!

I really hate doing this. The ‘zon did me dirty.

I really hate that I’m sending a newsletter update on my release day that isn’t overflowing with joy, pride and gratitude, but here we are.

Amazon unjustly removed my pre-order earlier this week, which means that, not only did I lose all of the revenue from the orders, but it also tanked my book’s ratings in my genre (if you didn’t know, pre-orders are a huge deciding factor in where your book lands algorithmically—in short, the more pre-orders you have, the more people will be able to find your book later).

Not only did they remove my pre-order, but they banned my account from being able to set up pre-orders in the future.

I wasn’t given the option to appeal.

As you can imagine, it’s pretty devastating.

This past week has been spent scrambling, trying to get Boys Don’t Dance back online. I had pushed my release date back to March 24th. But they decided to publish it in the early hours today.

As you can see, it’s been a mad dash.

How you can help…

It would mean a lot if you would consider purchasing the book, or start reading it on Kindle Unlimited.

If you have social media, you can also post about the book on your profile! Any little bit helps!

Lyra

Lyra Moreno’s life has fallen apart. Her latest book was a literary flop, and her on-again-off-again relationship was, again, off. When her sister suffers a stroke, Lyra returns to her small hometown to temporarily run her sister’s dance studio.

Lyra hopes the familiar setting will help heal her wounds and distract her from the pressures of a relentless agent, hungry publicists, and the curious public. It might have worked if she hadn’t run into an old flame—Alexis Marsh, now Alexis Cole.

Alex

Alexis’s worst fear was coming true—turning out like her mother. She followed the tried and true formula to happiness perfectly: a handsome husband with a great job, two kids, a beautiful house, and a homemaker lifestyle. She should be happy. She is happy.

Her carefully curated reality begins to crumble when a ghost from her past breezes in: Lyra Moreno. Her high school sweetheart and first love—a person she had convinced herself had been little more than a minor character in a passing phase.

So why does she feel the need to prove she’s happy?

Thank you so much. I know this is such a hot mess express and I really hate that I’m using my platform to e-beg for sales/attention on this book.
